TikTok made me try this cottage cheese pizza bowl trend, and honestly… I fully expected it to be terrible. But when your girl sees an easy high-protein cottage cheese recipe going viral online, there’s absolutely no way I’m not trying it at least once 😄
I’ve been on a bit of a cottage cheese obsession lately, testing everything from cottage cheese flatbread to scrambled eggs with cottage cheese, so naturally these viral cottage cheese pizza bowls ended up on my radar too.
And surprisingly, they actually work.

- tiny pinch of salt
- tiny pinch of monk fruit sweetener or sweetener of choice, this is to balance out the sourness of the tomato paste

Step 1: Preheat the oven

- pizza sauce or tomato sauce
- Italian seasoning
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- black pepper
Mix until fully combined.

These turned out great, very creamy and flavorful.
This turned out great and very tasty, but the bottom was a bit watery, is there anything I can do to prevent that from happening next time?
I improved the recipe and added more tips Joanne, check them out. The last few batches I made were not watery. Draining cottage cheese helps, but I discovered using farmer cheese (very similar to cottage, but dryer) really helped solve this issue.
