There’s something truly special about whipping up a quick snack that not only satisfies a sweet tooth but also fuels the body.

Recently, I found myself in need of a delicious pick-me-up during those busy afternoons when energy levels dip. That’s when I decided to create these Snack Bites, or Bliss Balls, or Energy Balls, you can call them whatever you like. One thing I promise you is that you won’t regret making them.

They’re perfect for stashing in the fridge for those moments when you crave something sweet yet wholesome. Or you can enjoy it as a sweet treat after dinner.

With a delightful blend of almonds, oats, and creamy almond butter, these bites are a breeze to make and require no baking—just mix, roll, and enjoy! The combination of raw honey and dark chocolate adds a rich sweetness, while a hint of cinnamon gives that special touch.

Recipe For The Snack Bites.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of raw, unsalted almonds
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds (or you can even use black sesame)
  • 50g dark vegan chocolate, melted (or you can use regular chocolate too)

Method:

  1. In a food processor, pulse the almonds and oats for 25-35 seconds.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl. Add the almond butter, honey, cinnamon, and sea salt.
  3. Mix thoroughly with a spatula until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Drizzle a little oil on your hands; this will prevent the dough from sticking to them, and roll the mixture into 10-12 balls.
  5. Roll each ball in sesame seeds to coat each snack bite evenly.
  6. Place the balls in the fridge for about 20 minutes to set.
  7. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate and return to the fridge for another 5 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

These Almon Honey Snack Bites are delicious and provide a wholesome energy boost without any sugar crashes. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week—if they last that long 😋!
