Goat Cheese – a Lower-Lactose Option

Did you know that goat’s milk contains less lactose than cow’s milk, making it easier for many people to digest? The structure of goat’s milk is also different from cow’s milk, with smaller fat globules and a higher proportion of medium-chain fatty acids, which can contribute to improved digestibility.

It’s important to note that individual tolerance levels vary, so those with lactose intolerance should introduce goat cheese gradually and monitor their body’s response. For many, however, this blueberry goat cheese log could be the key to enjoying cheese again without discomfort.
