Yerba Mate…what? And why is it so green? Excuse me for hogging your attention with an excessively green drink but I have some news to share!
This week Earth & Oven officially welcomed a baby sister! OK let me explain. I launched a new passion project slash business.
She’s pretty, she’s awkward-cool, and she’s still figuring this whole one-woman business thing out…
She’s LAKE & OAK TEA CO.
Lake & Oak Tea Co. was brought to life after months/years of yearning for a cup of tea that unearthed the perfect concoction of mind + body elevating ingredients, while being a pleasure to drink.
All ingredients were chosen for their benefits first, and then carefully balanced to ensure every sip is blissful.
Tea and I became tight over the past few years when I was looking for homemade + natural remedies to lighten my load of anxiety and digestive troubles. Now I’m on a mission to share my crush on all things healing + herbal.
We’re currently selling out of our little online boutique, but will be opening up to local stores in May and beyond! Send us good vibes!
So YEAH. Earth & Oven is going to have to get used to not being the only child anymore, ’cause there is a new kid in town!
Confession though: As a purveyor of tea, it might seem odd that I drink 90% of my tea COLD. Which is why my favourite ways to guzzle the good stuff is shaken (not stirred) with plenty of ice and other refreshing ingredients.
This Yerba Mate Mojito has serious health-aide status with it’s combo of yerba mate + green tea as a base. I chose these two for my ‘Zenergy’ tea because they are known to bring about energy, good mood and focus, without the crash. Oh yeah and I snuck chlorella in there, just to scare off your boyfriends.
MORE EXCITING STUFF -> Over at the Lake & Oak instagram we are hosting a killer giveaway you can get your paws on right now! There’s over $200 worth of goodness including the full line of Lake & Oak organic herbal teas and a gorgeous beach-inspired terrarium from Succuterra. So get your name in there! Contest closes next Thursday, April 26th.
That’s all for now friends! I’ll just be over here chugging Zenergy.
XO.
Meredith
