Preheat the oven to 450 F. Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet. Pat the sliced tofu dry with paper towel, getting out as much liquid as possible (a little moisture is OK).
In a large bowl, add tofu, 1 tbsp olive oil, flour, garlic powder, tamari and sesame seeds. Season with salt and pepper and toss very well to coat.
Arrange the tofu in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 to 40 min, flipping tofu halfway, until very crisp and golden.
