1 Immersion (stick) blender Or regular blender, you can transfer the contents to the pint after
Ingredients
2cupsof plain Greek yogurtfull-fat or low-fat (higher protein is great too)
3tbspnsof cocoa powderunsweetened
4tbspnsof raw natural cane sugar or coconut sugaradd more if needed
1tbspnof vanilla extractoptional for more flavor
1/4tspnof xanthan gumif using low-fat yogurt
1/8tspnof guar gumif using low-fat yogurt
Instructions
Using a stick blender, directly in the Ninja Creami pint container, blend together the Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, sweetener, xanthan and guar gums if using, and vanilla until completely smooth. Or use a regular blender and transfer the blended mixture into the pint after.
Freeze for approximately 20-24 hours, or until completely solid.
Spin on Light Ice Cream mode.
If crumbly, add 1–2 tablespoons milk or yogurt and re-spin until creamy.
Notes
Nutritional values are approximate and may vary depending on the type of yogurt you use. The above values are based on full-fat yogurt, which is my preferred option.
